Overview
Our Saoirse energy demonstration project aims to prove the viability of wave energy in Irish seas. The development focuses on the installation of a 5MW capacity demonstration array 4km off the west coast of Co Clare.
Project Information
Subject to the necessary consents and a grid connection, the project aims to be completed by the mid to late 2020s. The project is being co-funded by the European Union, Emissions Trading System Innovation.
